Mr. Carman
Head of School
Mr. Carman is a classical, Christian educator and a technology business owner. He has spent the last 25+ years founding and operating e-learning companies. In the K-12 space, he is passionate about the great books, cursive, and preparation for a joyful and productive life. Blessed in his youth to attend a classical, Christian school, he later served as a board member of that same school. With his children and grandchildren as inspiration, Mr. Carman's intent is to pass, to the rising generation, these same gifts. Mr. Carman holds an M.S. in Instructional Technology from Utah State University and a B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University.
Mrs. Boynton
Assistant Head of School
Mrs. Boynton is an accomplished educator with over 25 years teaching classical subjects in home and private school settings. She earned a B.A. in English from Brigham Young University. She minored in music, served as a Board Advisory Committee Member for the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute, and performs as a bell ringer with Bells on Temple Square. Mrs. Boynton is an avid lover of literature, maintaining an extensive personal library which she generously shares with Belmont faculty and students.
Mrs. Carman
Assistant Head of School
Mrs. Carman is an engaging and well-read administrator of Classical, Christian education. She earned her BA in English Literature (French minor) from the University of Utah. Drawing on her work at the University of Neuchatel, Switzerland, and her more than 10 years teaching and writing classical curriculum, Mrs. Carman lifts and mentors both teachers and students. Prior to joining Belmont, Mrs. Carman taught for five years at another Christian school, and tutored students in English, French, and ESL. She readily shares her love of literature, poetry, and making new connections!
