Start of School: Getting Back into the Swing of Things
Another new year has started, and the students at Belmont Classical Academy are learning and remembering good habits both on the playground and in the classroom. As they practice daily routines (greeting their teachers and classmates, preparing for class, prayer, etc.), they also practice the three attributes of the Belmont motto: caritas, veritas, and actio – love, truth, and action. Students develop caritas when they treat each other with courtesy and say thank you to their teachers. They pursue veritas as they dedicate time to study and are honest about their work. They show actio when they take care of their classrooms, making the school a tidy and welcoming place to learn. Developing the attributes of the Belmont motto takes work! Students improve as they practice every day.
